PEACH BOTTOM UNIT 2 RETURNS TO SERVICE

PEACH BOTTOM UNIT 2 RETURNS TO SERVICE
PHILADELPHIA, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Philadelphia Electric Company

(NYSE: PE) said today that Unit 2 at its Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in York County has returned to service after a brief outage.
The unit shut down automatically on May 20 during testing of turbine control and intercept valves.
PE said it took advantage of the outage to perform a series of maintenance tasks on Unit 2, before restarting it on Thursday, May 28, and returning it to full power production over the weekend.
Peach Bottom Unit 3 was unaffected by the outage and continues to operate at full power.
