PDWP approves Rs.17b tourism project.

PESHAWAR -- PESHAWAR: A meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash here Tuesday approved a tourism project costing Rs.17b.

The meeting among others was attended by members of PDWP and representatives of sports and tourism department.

The forum considered only one scheme i.e. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project funded by the World Bank, which was cleared by PDWP and recommended for approval. The project has financial implications of Rs. 17 billion.
