PDMA dispatches 2860 blankets, 565 tents to Chitral.

PESHAWAR -- The Provincial Disasters Management Authority (PDMA) have dispatched 2860 blankets and 565 tents to the rain and flood devastated Chitral district.

The PDMA Spokesman told on Monday that relief and rehabilitation operation continued in the flood hit Chitral district to help the affected population.

He said a caravan of trucks with relief goods carrying blankets, tents, hygiene kits, jackets and clean drinking water bottles have been dispatched to Chitral form Dir Lower district to provide relief to the affected people.

The relief goods sent to Chitral from Lower Dir include 2860 blankets, 141 Chetae (mat), 565 tents, 70 hygiene kits, six bundles of jackets etc. These goods have been handed over to the concerned authorities.
