PDK Labs, Inc. Announces Termination of Its Subsidiary's Purchase Agreement.

HAUPPAUGE, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 1999--

PDK Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDKL) announced today that the Nutraceutical International Corporation (Nasdaq: NUTR) had exercised its option to terminate the agreement with its majority owned subsidiary Futurebiotics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VITK) pursuant to which an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Nutraceutical was to acquire the assets comprising the Futurebiotics line of nutritional supplements.

PDK Labs Inc. manufactures and distributes nationwide more than 500 over-the-counter products such as vitamins, food supplements, non-prescription caffeine products, pain relievers, decongestants, diet aids, minerals and beauty aides to distributors, health food stores and retail customers.
