 PCC GROUP TO ENTER APPLE MACINTOSH MARKET THROUGH
 51 PERCENT JOINT VENTURE WITH RODIME SYSTEMS
 BREA, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- PCC Group Inc. (NASDAQ: PCCG) a national distributor and manufacturer of personal computers, peripherals and multimedia systems today announced it had signed a joint venture letter of agreement with Profit Technology Inc. Rodime System USA Inc., the new joint venture sales and marketing entity, will be 51 percent controlled by PCC Group and 49 percent by Profit Technology. "Well known and respected as a manufacturer of hard disk drives for Apple's full line of Macintosh microcomputers, Rodime Systems enjoys a strong reputation for quality in the world marketplace. The joint venture company will be located in California and the order backlog for Rodime Systems worldwide will be filled in early October," said Jack Wen, president and chief executive officer of PCC Group.
 Wen noted that PCC Group will assemble hard disk drives as a storage subsystem for Rodime, and will sell the subsystems to the newly formed Rodime Systems USA for resale to the marketplace.
 "This joint venture agreement which is expected to be finalized by Oct. 15, 1992, represents the initial step for establishing PCC Group in the Apple Macintosh market. Through Rodime Systems' existing client base with many Fortune 500 companies, universities and dealers, we will be able to penetrate the Apple market with our multimedia offerings. The strong brand name recognition of Rodime will give us a decisive advantage in the launching of our Media Resources multimedia kit," said Wen.
 PCC Group Inc. was recently relisted on the OTC NASDAQ stock market under the symbol PCCG. The company recently reported earnings of $ 1.2 million, or $.47 per share, on revenues of $64 million for the nine months ended June 30, 1992.
