PC/104 module has eight serial ports, each with 15kv ESD protection.

WinSystems introduced its PCM-COM8-G RoHS-compliant, eight-channel PC/104 asynchronous communications module. Each channel supports RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 electrical levels to interface to a variety of serial communications devices. It is designed for PC/104-expandable embedded computer systems running Windows[R] CE, Windows[R] XP embedded, Linux, QNX, VxWorks and DOS. The unit contains on-chip software programmable baud rate generators with data rates selectable through 115,200 bps. Each channel has a 128 byte transmit and receive FIFO to increase the service interval and reduce the overall UART interrupt servicing time.
