PATRICK G. DEASY ELECTED DYNCORP CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT

 RESTON, Va., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Patrick G. Deasy has been elected a corporate vice president Of DynCorp, a professional and technical services firm headquartered in Reston. Deasy is currently president of DynAir Ground Services Group, a $120 million DynCorp unit that provides ramp, cargo and passenger services; aircraft fueling and fuel farm management; aircraft cleaning, maintenance and ground transportation; and maintenance of inflight telephone and video systems to over 100 commercial aviation customers.
 Deasy's career in the airline and airline services industry spans more than 35 years. He joined DynAir Services Inc., a DynCorp subsidiary, in 1974 as vice president of the company's JFK operations, and in 1980 he assumed the position of senior vice president of marketing, where he was credited with increasing revenues 15O percent. In 1985 Deasy became president of that subsidiary, where he remained until being promoted to his current position of group president in 1993.
 Prior to joining DynCorp, Deasy spent 16 years with Aer Lingus, an Irish airline, in various positions in the United States and abroad. Deasy holds degrees from CBS College and Technical College in Limerick, Ireland.
