PAT announces countrywide sit-in on May 11.

LAHORE -- Announcing country wide sit in on polling day Chief of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran, Allama Tahirul Qadri, has said that Election 2013 would neither change the system nor the faces.

Speaking to reporters at Lahore Airport, he said the May 11 elections will usher the same old faces into the Parliament, adding this system can never provide the foundation for change in the country.

Tahirul Qadri noted as to how it is possible to exterminate corruption from the country if the basis of both the government and the opposition, is corruption.

"We do not want to become the part of this corrupt system; hence, we will organize sit-ins across the country in every city," he asserted adding he will put forward a new system to bring about change in the country after the elections are held.

"I will present a new system after the terrible collapse of this system. And, those who are raising the slogan of change, will be left all perplexed after the elections," he said.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the founder of Minhajul Quran remarked, saved every corrupt person and all those immersed in corruption, have been given a go-ahead to take part in the elections, adding except Former President General (rtd.) Pervez Musharraf, currently, nobody else is disqualified in the country.

"Our, war against the corruption will continue," he added

He said election campaign was limited to just one province only, how could these polls be declared free and fair.

Qadri said the institutions which allowed the tax-evaders to take part in the general elections, are blameworthy
