PARAMOUNT LICENSING GROUP NAMES THREE VICE PRESIDENTS

 HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Paramount Licensing Group today announced the promotions to vice president of the following executives, each of whom will serve as head of the three major divisions in the department: Terri Helton, merchandising; Christin Miller, domestic licensing; and Jonathan Zilli, international licensing. The announcement was made by Andrea Hein, president of the Paramount Licensing Group.
 "Terri, Christin and Jonathan are invaluable members of this licensing group," said Hein. "The success of our business can be attributed to the high quality of products created under Terri's leadership, coupled with Christin's expertise in the domestic licensing marketplace and Jonathan's extensive knowledge of the international arena. We look forward to many fruitful years as we license and merchandise quality Paramount products throughout the world."
 In her new position, Helton is responsible for the development and approval of all licensed product for the division, including overseeing the creative direction of new properties and working directly with retailers to maximize Paramount's presence in the marketplace. In addition, she will oversee the merchandising efforts of the Paramount employee stores and consult on the merchandising operations of Madison Square Garden and Paramount Parks.
 Previously, Helton served as executive director, licensing and product development, after working as director of product and retail development. She joined Paramount in September 1989 as a manager. Prior to that, she was division merchandise manager for Host International, a Marriott company, for three years. She holds a bachelor of science in business from California State University, Long Beach.
 As vice president, domestic licensing, Miller is responsible for the supervision of all domestic licensing activities, including publishing. In addition, she will develop long-range business plans, oversee the acquisition of new properties and direct the expansion of existing licensing programs.
 Miller was formerly executive director, licensing, for three years. Before that, she was director, licensing, for two years. She joined Paramount Pictures in March 1987 as manager, licensing. Previously, Miller served as manager, sales promotion, Consumer Products Division, at the Walt Disney Co. She holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.
 In his new role, Zilli will continue to oversee all licensing activity in the territories outside of the United States and supervise 25 international agents. He also will evaluate and acquire potential properties for licensing in the international market.
 for the past year, Zilli has served as executive director, international licensing. In 1990, he joined Paramount as director of international licensing. Prior to that Zilli was vice president, sales and marketing, at MGM/UA Home Video for two years, responsible for the Latin American and Far Eastern territories. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration/economics from the University of San Francisco.
 The Paramount Licensing Group is a subsidiary of Paramount Communications Inc., and is responsible for all licensing and merchandising activities throughout the company's entertainment and publishing operations.
