PARAMAX ANNOUNCES SENIOR EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS

 MCLEAN, VA., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Paramax, a wholly owned subsidiary of Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS), has announced a number of recent appointments to senior executive positions. "These appointments are made as Paramax successfully continues to execute its strategy of expanding core businesses in the defense and public sector arenas and in emerging commercial markets worldwide," commented Albert F. Zettlemoyer, senior vice president, Unisys, and president of Paramax.
 Dr. W. Lee Shevel has been named vice president, Corporate Information Management (CIM), on the Paramax Headquarters staff. Shevel was most recently vice president and general manager of the Information Systems division in Reston, Va. His association with the company began in 1982 and includes service as president of Paramax Systems Canada from 1988 to 1992.
 Sidney P. Rundell has been appointed vice president, Information Systems, succeeding Shevel. Since 1988, Rundell served as vice president and general manager of the Communication Systems division in Salt Lake City. He has been with the company for more than 20 years, serving in business development and general management positions.
 Curtis Brunson has been named vice president and general manager, Communication Systems, succeeding Rundell. He has been director, Space Operations, in the Systems Services division's Camarillo, Calif., unit since 1992. Brunson's career with the company spans more than 20 years in software engineering and management positions.
 Elsewhere in the company, John J. Dillon has been named to the new position of vice president of the Command, Control and Security Systems line of business in the Systems Services division in McLean. Most recently, he was vice president of Business Development for Paramax. Dillon joined the company in 1988, following successful management careers with several major computer and electronics companies. Dillon has been succeeded in his previous position by Bill D. Sturm.
