PAPP NAMED CORPORATE CONTROLLER FOR TRINOVA

 MAUMEE, Ohio, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- TRINOVA Corporation (NYSE: TNV) announced today that Gregory R. Papp has been named corporate controller.
 Papp will be responsible for TRINOVA's fiscal records and accounting practices, procedures and systems. This will include preparing and issuing internal and external consolidated financial statements, credit and collection, and financial analysis. He reports to David M. Risley, vice president - finance and chief financial officer for TRINOVA.
 Most recently, Papp has been vice president and controller of TRINOVA's Aeroquip subsidiary. Prior to being named to that post in July 1991, he was vice president - planning and control for Aeroquip's Automotive Products Group. He joined Aeroquip in this position in January 1991 after 20 years of progressive experience in plant and corporate financial and engineering functions with Ford Motor Company and Allied-Signal Corporation, most recently as group controller for Allied's Garrett Automotive Group.
 Papp has a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from the General Motors Institute and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Arizona.
