A POPULAR craft event is set to return to a historic city park.

Sefton Park's Palm House will play host to the Artisans in the Palm House showcase later this month.

The event brings together the handmade products from across the North West and North Wales.

More than 50 artisans will be bringing their work for display, with products ranging from glasswork to handmade bread.

Also on offer will be a wide range of world foods prepared by chefs, along with many locally brewed beers and ciders.

This will be the third time the event has taken place in Sefton Park.

Organisers said in the past it had proved popular with families and children. ? Artisans in the Palm House takes place between 10am and 4pm on March 23 and admission to the event is free.
