PACIFIC SUMMA ENVIRONMENTAL ANNOUNCES DEALER AGREEMENT

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Summa Environmental Corp. (Vancouver: PSU) announces that a Dealer Agreement has been executed by Michael DiCarlo, secretary/treasurer, and Vincent DiCarlo Sr., president and chief executive officer of DiCarlo Distributors Inc., for nationwide marketing of its Zeomix products. DiCarlo Distributors is a New York-based distribution company servicing the food service industry. 1992 sales were in excess of $50 million. The marketing of the company's Zeomix product will be through an affiliated corporation, Dynamic Environmental Corp. of Suffolk County doing business as DEC Sales.
In addition to the authorization received previously by the company from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control which qualified Zeomix as a method of hazardous waste treatment through chemical stabilization, ion exchange, adsorption, absorption and neutralization, the company's Zeomix Municipal Sewage Sludge Treatment Process has recently been approved by the State of New York's Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). The state has classified the Zeomix process as a method of chemical stabilization that meets the criteria for a process to significantly reduce pathogens (PSRP). Zeomix has now been authorized as a method of chemical stabilization, ion exchange, absorption, adsorption, and neutralization by the California and New York State Environmental Agencies. As the regulatory climates in the states of New York and California are generally regarded as the most stringent in the United States, and, as the two authorizations recognize the same treatment techniques and contain much of the same language, the company is aggressively and constantly improving production capabilities to satisfy the growing product demand.
The program initiated with DEC Sales will include incorporating the California and New York EPA authorizations stating that the post-Zeomix treatment by-products are suitable for several recycling options including land application, composting, and as a base for asphalt and concrete manufacture.
