P&H Small Business Features Popular With Financial Institutions.

P&H, the leader in web-based business banking systems, announced strong sales for small business modules in its industry-leading Web Cash Manager Suite. Sales for Real-time Reporting, QuickBooks Export, Automated Enrollments, and Funds Authorization in particular were cited.

Reporting with Quicken(R) and QuickBooks(R) Export
Customers can easily retrieve account summary and account detail information on-line. This information can be downloaded to their accounting or reconciliation product using the export modules. In particular, Quicken and QuickBooks Export modules let customers download statement reports in QFX and QBO format for fast and easy desktop reconciliation. Both modules use Intuit's new Web Connect Service, which eliminates the expense and complexity of an in-house OFX server. P&H is currently the only vendor offering QuickBooks Export through Web Connect. As optional services, financial institutions can offer both check image retrieval and stop payment origination.
Small Business Payments
Financial Institutions can grant small business clients access to Payroll, Federal Taxes, State Taxes, and Child Support Payments. As their needs grow, you can select from among 120 payment templates such as direct debits, vendor payments, and cash concentration.
Funds Authorization (Pre-funding)
The Funds Authorization module removes the credit risk associated with offering ACH payments to small businesses by verifying funds required to cover transactions in real-time when a customer releases them. "Funds Authorization completely removes the need for expensive and slow credit qualification services," says Box. "This streamlines the sign-up process and allows the financial institution to take on more small business customers with less risk."
The Automated Enrollments module further streamlines the signup process for customers by letting them sign up for services by themselves on the web. Customers are automatically added to the system and can log in and use the system without contacting customer support.
The Freedom to Design Your Own Small Business System
The Web Cash Manager Suite is comprised of over 50 modules within 10 different cash management products. Its unique, modular design lets financial institutions choose between over 200 different configurable items to serve the needs of a wide variety of small, medium, and large businesses. Many items (such as reports), can be created independently by financial institutions in response to customer needs using unique P&H-provided customization tools and wizards. "Unlike competing systems, Web Cash Manager doesn't confine financial institutions to a specific set of features for small business," says Box. "One of the strengths of our system is that is allows financial institutions to incrementally add functionality for incremental fees." Because Web Cash Manager is a single scalable system, financial institutions can choose from the full breadth of our 50 modules when they design their small business system."
