 P&G ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHANGES
 CINCINNATI, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company


(NYSE: PG) announced today the retirement of two company officers: Wahib N. Zaki (64), group vice president, The Procter & Gamble Company and president-health and beauty care products, Procter & Gamble Europe, will retire on June 30, 1992, after more than 30 years of service.
 In anticipation of Zaki's retirement, Wolfgang C. Berndt (49), group vice president, The Procter & Gamble Company and currently president, Procter & Gamble Canada and Latin America and president- Eastern Europe, Procter & Gamble Europe, has been named president- health and beauty care products, Procter & Gamble Europe, effective July 1, 1992, succeeding Zaki. Berndt will remain president-Eastern Europe, Procter & Gamble Europe.
 Charles D. Broaddus (61), vice president-corporate research, Procter & Gamble Worldwide, will retire on June 30, 1992, after 32 years of service.
 Separately, the company announced some additional officer changes effective immediately.
 Alan G. Lafley (44), previously vice president-laundry and cleaning products, Procter & Gamble USA, has been elected a group vice president of The Procter & Gamble Company and named president-laundry and cleaning products, Procter & Gamble USA.
 Robert T. Blanchard (47), has been named president-beauty care products, Procter & Gamble USA., while continuing as group vice president, The Procter & Gamble Company.
 Todd A. Garrett (50), previously vice president-beauty care products, Procter & Gamble USA, has been named vice president- worldwide strategic planning, health and beauty care products, Procter & Gamble Worldwide.
