OXFORD -- The town activities are slated to take place May 26.

Honor Guard: Starting at 8 a.m., the Oxford Memorial Honor Guard will visit the American Legion Hall at 227 Main St., South Cemetery, North Cemetery, Saad Square, Gore Cemetery, the Oxford Police Station, St. Roch's Cemetery and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall at 20 Federal Hill Road to lay wreaths, play "Taps'' and fire a salute in memory of all veterans.

Oxford Memorial Day Parade: The Oxford Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall at 20 Federal Hill Road and march down Main Street to the American Legion Hall at 227 Main St. Expected participants include VFW Post 5663 Commander Walter S. Powell, American Legion Post 58 Commander Ed O'Connor, the Oxford Memorial Honor Guard, veterans, American Legion Riders motorcycle charitable organization, the Oxford High School Naval Junior ROTC and selectmen.

Parade participants are invited to the American Legion Hall for a luncheon buffet after the parade.
