Oxford Launches Oxford-Syrian Leadership Development Program.

Damascus, (SANA) -- The Oxford-Syria Leadership Development Program was launched on Wednesday at Damascus University in cooperation between Damascus University and Said Business School.The five-month program aims at creating distinguished cadres of young leaders who are capable of achieving strategic changes in business administration in both the private and public sectors. Rector of Damascus University Dr. Wael Moalla said the program is a positive start point in training cadres in the private and public sectors to use leadership skills.For his part, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Maher Mujtahid said the great openness which Syria has witnessed in business sector led to the necessity of focusing on creating leaders to deal with these changes.Oxford-Syrian Leadership Development Program Director Andrew White stressed the necessity of creating highly-qualified cadres to achieve a unified vision in the Syrian business sector.The program will choose 40 candidates who have a strategic view for the future and commitment to self-development.
