Over eur 8 mn for building industrial zones.

Some 8.1 million euros from the budget 2012 will be allocated for building and modernizing the free economic zones in Macedonia, Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski said. He explained that the item for development and construction of technological and industrial development zones in the budget 2012 will be increased by some 3 million euros compared to this year, which would intensify the construction of the planned zones in Gevgelija, Radovis, Struga, Kicevo, Prilep, Strumica ad Rankovce.

The Director of the Directorate for Technological and Development Zones, Viktor Mizo, informed that in ten days the company Johnson Controls would begin transferring machines into its facility in Stip and will start trial production. According to Mizo, in the course of November, the equipment of the Chinese company Hayer for assembling monitors and TV sets should also arrive. These, as well as other activities are a proof for Mizo that the activities regarding the foreign investments that should be realized in the country unfold without any problems. In about ten days, the Government is going to announce a public call for a concession holder for publicprivate partnership for the industrial zone Tetovo.
