Over 70 Al Qaeda militants reportedly try to intrude into Tajikistan, other Central Asian states.

More than 70 Al Qaeda militants attempt to intrude into Tajikistan from Afghanistan, reported CA-News citing Tajik language service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. The group tries to intrude into Tajikistan and other countries of the region, local police said. The group mainly consists of citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, has 4 citizens of Pakistan and Russia. If NATO forces and authorities of Afghanistan in conjunction with Central Asian states do not adopt measures to neutralize this armed group, it will cause serious headaches in security sphere not only for Afghan authorities, but Central Asian countries too, reported RFE/RL. CA-News correspondent in Dushanbe tries to obtain confirmation of this information.
