Over 17,000 Hajj applicants on waiting list declared successful.

ISLAMABAD -- Hajj applicants on waiting list under government scheme have been declared successful.

According to the Ministry of Interfaith Harmony and Religious Affairs, the decision has been taken in light of Supreme Court's directions.

Hajj applicants on waiting list were 17,563 and will formally be intimated today by written mail and SMS.

Those applicants were on the waiting list since the Hajj balloting on 28 April this year.
