Outside bet.

STEVE Bruce reckons Wolves might just be the surprise package in the Championship play-offs.

Although the Blues boss tipped Albion at the campaign's start to win automatic promotion, he has a sneaking feeling that their Black Country rivals could snaffle the end-of-season glory.

He said: "If I was betting I might take Wolves but Stoke City could sneak in there with their momentum.

"I thought Wolves were terrific aginst us. They are young, bright and lively up front.

"I still think Albion have an oustanding chance through the play-offs because they have got a lot of good players."
