Outrage aimed at wrong man; DM1ST mirror.co.uk WEDNESDAY 06.12.2017 DAILY MIRROR 17 @MirrorAlison ...and another thing! ALISON PHILLIPS a.phillips@mirror.co.uk.

Byline: ALISON PHILLIPS

There are times when I think I'm listening to different news to the rest of the country.

This week it was the outraged response to revelations from a former cop that he has notes recording extensive porn found on Damian Green's House of Commons computer which he'd been accessing while at work (paid for by us).

Yet for some inexplicable reason much of the outrage has been directed not at Mr Green - who denies the claims - but at the former officer and whether he was right to have spoken out.

Possibly he wasn't. But I'm really not massively fussed if one random, retired detective has broken some internal regulation in support of another colleague.

What I am incandescent about is that it looks quite possible we have a stonking great liar as our de facto deputy prime minister.
