Outgoing Fed chair, Janet Yellen, said that US stocks and commercial real estate prices are elevated.

She said, 'Well, I don't want to say too high. But I do want to say high. Price-earnings ratios are near the high end of their historical ranges.' She was speaking on CBS' 'Sunday Morning' programme.

She also said that the financial system is now 'much better capitalised' and the banking system is 'more resilient' than they were a decade ago.
