Biffy Clyro will be at Newcastle's HMV store tomorrow to support the release of their new album Vertigo of Bliss.

The group will be performing in-store as well as signing copies of the CD.

Formed by singer/guitarist Simon Neil and drummer Ben Johnston in the mid-1990s, Biffy Clyro debuted at a local youth centre, with Ben's twin brother on bass, supporting cult favourites Pink Kross.

In 1997, the trio relocated to Glasgow to study music and to turn Biffy Clyro into a full-time profession.

They were spotted playing the unsigned bands stage at 2000's T in the Park and were promptly signed to Beggar's Banquet.

Two years ago they released their debut album, Blackened Sky and have since supported Hell Is For Heroes, Sum 41 and Rival Schools.

They recorded Vertigo of Bliss in one day. Catch them at HMV, Northumberland Street, Newcastle, tomorrow at 5pm.
