Our tipster is on a hot run; HORSE RACING.

THE COVENTRY TELEGRAPH'S Derek Brown is very much the country's tipster in form after a sparkling run that's put him inside the top eight in the Racing Post Tipster's table.

Three winners in the last five selections - Tinkerbelle 10/1, Seventh Cavalry 100/30 plus yesterday's 10/1 shot Speedy Guru -puts our naps man in contention for the top prize of pounds 4,000 in his first season as the Telegraph man in the tipping saddle.

But it could have been far better as Saturday's selection Tartan Gigha was pipped by a nose in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket.
