Our dread turned to delight; YourSay.

WHEN my husband, Barry was told he was being transferred from the Alexander Hospital in Redditch to the Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham, my heart sank due to the negative reports that I had read and heard about, but was I mistaken? My husband, unfortunately, has had two stays there for surgery and I have to say that from admission to discharge, the care and support he received has been fantastic.

From the lady who served refreshments to the surgeon who carried out the operations and the nurses on wards 4 and 5 - all were wonderful, both to my husband and me.

Their dedication to their work is incredible and I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of my husband, myself and our family to thank them all from the bottom of our hearts for their faultless work and their support and understanding during what has been the most difficult of times.
