Our capital has a fine menu of culinary treats - just take a tour.

I MUST say how appreciative I am of the various remarks and numerous pleasant personal comments concerning my recent letters about wonderful Clarksie Pies.

However, I do not feel we should neglect the other brilliant delicacies that Cardiffians can sample. Which? Well take a quick tour of our city centre? In my humble opinion, the rissoles and scotch eggs from Dorothy's in Caroline Street are out of this world, and if you go a little further on to Cardiff Market, the cockles and other seafood (including laverbread) are incredible.

Then, to complete the route, pop into the Old Arcade for a pint or three (or more!) of Brains Dark.

Our city has fine traditions - enjoy!
