Our Day Out stars head to St Helens Festival.

SHAMELESS actor Tina Malone and Eurovision hopeful Margi Clarke will head up a night of comedy that features a team of young performers from Liverpool agents Allstars Casting.

The show, featuring many of the young people from the Royal Court's recent production of Our Day Out, takes place tomorrow night as part of St Helens Comedy Festival.

Scousers in St Helens is directed by Allstars' Sylvie Gatrill.

Performers include Abby Mavers, who played teacher-fancying Carlene Croxley in Our Day Out and has also appeared in Jimmy McGovern's daytime drama series Moving On, Jasmine Joel (Our Day Out, Classic Motown), Lenny Wood and Lauren McQueen, who has recently returned from Shanghai where she was working with the National School of Ballet.

Adam Perriman and TJ Jones will also perform, as hairdressers from hell Cecil and Vecil, and BBC Radio Merseyside's presenter Billy Butler will also be appearing.

Based on Hope Street, Allstars Casting supplies young actors for TV, film and theatre as well as providing training for performance or auditions for children, teenagers and adults.

SCOUSERS in St Helens is at the town's Theatre Royal at 7.30pm tomorrow. Tickets pounds 17 (pounds 15 concs) from 01744 756000.
