PURPLEMELON / 747S / KATE GOES / ADVENTURE CLUB BARFLY, MILK ST, DIGBETH

SIR PAUL McCartney's former press aide Geoff Baker is launching his own band, Cavern-style.

Aged from 18-23, they offer a pulsating mix of everything from Cuban rhythms to jazz-funk grooves via Bon Jovi, Queen, Dan Reed Network and Deep Purple a la Hush. And no, they don't want to be pigeon-holed.
