Oud star Hany Naser to play Dubai in May.

An oud player who has performed and recorded with everyone from Bob Dylan to Santana is performing in Dubai next month.

Jordanian Hani Naser will take to the Ductac stage as part of the fifth season of the Emirates NBD Classics concert series, along with his band.

A Rhythmical Journey will see the percussionist and oud player showcase the breadth of talent that's led him to play with musicians from across the spectrum, from Dylan and Jackson Browne to Bonnie Raitt and the Grateful Dead, and Arab music legends Fayrouz, Sabah, Abdul Wahab, Wadi Al Safi and Samira Tawfik. The concert, on May 20, starts at 8pm, with tickets from Dh150, at Ductac, platinumlist.new and ticket-line.ae.
