Osaka man arrested for strangling his niece.

OSAKA, March 23 Kyodo

A 55-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of strangling his 19-year-old niece at her house in Yao, Osaka Prefecture, police said.

Ryoe Miyamoto, a truck driver, was arrested shortly after turning himself in at the Yao Police Station, police said.

According to police investigations, Miyamoto strangled Nozomi Ono on Thursday night after an argument at her house.

''When I warned her about her lifestyle, she told me, 'It's none of your business,''' Miyamoto was quoted as telling police investigators.
