Orders Double for Heath Construction Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings; Company Expands 'Steel Team' to Meet Demand.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Regional demand for Heath Construction's pre-engineered steel buildings has doubled during the last 12 months, and the company has responded by adding a new member to its busy "Steel Team."

James McManaman, a new project engineer, joins Randy Gates, a 20-year veteran of metal building design and estimating. With pre-engineered steel, Heath offers retail, industrial, municipal, educational and medical building owners a cost-effective and attractive alternative to traditional construction.

"Pre-engineered steel buildings no longer are dull warehouse-looking structures," said Randy DeMario, Heath's president. "Most people can't believe the Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson Superstore at I-25 and Crossroads Boulevard is a pre-engineered steel building. Like all our steel structures, the owner had options for wall finishes of wood and other materials that create the look of traditional construction at a more cost-effective price."

Gates and McManaman currently are working on six Heath pre-engineered steel-building projects in the Rocky Mountain area:

--The 4H building at The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland, Colo.

--The 85,000-square-foot Furniture Row store south of Longmont, Colo.

--The Sport Center at Magic Sky Ranch, the new Girl Scout camp east of Red Feather Lakes, Colo.

--The 25,000-square-foot Federal Express distribution facility in St. George, Utah

--The Panhandle Cooperative Association grocery store in Wellington, Colo.

--The 67,000-square-foot Parker Field House for the City of Parker, Colo.
