Opting for Tunisia site to intensify inter-regional co-operation.
Tunisia is a link between Italy and several emerging countries, in view of the broad economic growth these countries offer to Italy, particularly in light of current economic crisis, Claudio Rotti Deputy Chairman of PROMOS, the Milan Chamber of Commerce's Special Agency for International Activities, at a news conference held on Tuesday in Milan. <p>The organisation of this conference is part of introducing the Tunisian Week in Milan held on the 18th-24th instant, at the initiative of Tunisia's General Consulate in Milan, under the aegis of Tunisia's Embassy in Rome and in co-ordination with the Exports Promotion Centre (CEPEX)'s office in Milan, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), The National Tunisian Tourism Board (ONTT), and the collaboration of the Milan Chamber of Commerce's Special Agency for International Activities.
"Tunisia's Week," which is the first event organised in this Italian city, aims to boost economic and commercial co-operation, increase tourist flow to Tunisia and give a fresh impetus to partnership between the Tunisian and Italian enterprises participating in this event. Tunisia's General Consul in Milan Salem Ben Sheikh said the organisation of the Tunisian week in Milan aims to present Tunisia as an investment site and a tourist destination holding a prominent position in the Mediterranean.
