Opportunity to quiz top financiers.
The Manufacturing Advisory Service - West Midlands (MAS-WM) will host the 'Access to Finance' event at Wolverhampton Science Park on May 26 and is looking to provide local companies with a platform to pose questions to venture capitalists, public sector funding bodies, asset-based lenders and a host of high street banks.
There will be presentations from Angel Den, ASC, Austin-Owens MFS, Black Country Reinvestment Society (BCRS), Natwest and Midven on the latest developments and current trends in the sector.
This will be followed by a debate addressing key industry concerns, such as lack of finance, high rates of interest and where to head for alternative forms of finance.
Simon Griffiths, chief executive of MAS-WM, believes demand for the event will be high: "Despite the upturn in manufacturing, companies are still reporting difficulty in getting the cash they need to fund their growth, whether that be investing in new machinery, material stocks or taking people on," he said.
The event, which is being sponsored by the Black Country Reinvestment Society, is free of charge, open only to SMEs and places will be on a first come, first served basis up to 100 delegates.
