Perihelion Global has received a formal letter of intent from the City of Opp, Ala., granting approval and incentives to build and operate a biofuel refinery in the city's new industrial park.

John H. Beebe, Perihelion chairman, chief executive officer and president, plans to meet with Opp Mayor H.D. Edgar and other local and state officials to reach a final agreement."The letter of intent from the City of Opp outlines favorable terms and incentives for Perihelion Global that I would like to discuss in greater detail with state and local government officials," Beebe said, adding that the letter "is a positive step for Perihelion Global to move forward with our biofuel refinery project."
