Operating margin up in Q1 for GOL.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2013 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Brazilian low-cost airline operator GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA (BM&FBOVESPA: GOLL) (NYSE: GOL) said it posted an operating result of BRL 101m in Q1 '13, accompanied by a margin of 4.9%.

The carrier said that this is an increase of BRL 94m or 4.6 %, versus an operating result of RUSD 7 m in Q1 '12, with a margin of 0.3%.

Net revenue per available seat-kilometer (PRASK) reached BRL 15.46 in Q1 '13, 12.4% up over Q1 '12.

This performance gave momentum to the annual increase of 9.1% in revenue per available seat-kilometer, which came to BRL 16.89 in Q1 '13.
