Operating Rate Stable Last Month.

The pace at which metalworking plants produced their goods remained at 80% of theoretical capacity, on average. A slight decline among aircraft producers was offset by an increase by electrical equipment suppliers.

The operating rate for the so-called metalworking industries group of durable goods producers remained more than one percentage point above its long-term average.
