Hillsborough. Newhall Manor, an 1890s Tudor mansion, is open April 29 through May 20. It's accessible only by shuttle bus from a parking area in San Mateo at 2000 Alameda de las Pulgas (at 20th Avenue) near State Highway 92. The bus leaves at 15-minute intervals from 9:15 to 3:15 daily and 4:45 to 7:30 Wednesday evenings. Admission is $8 (no children under 8 admitted). Proceeds benefit Coyote Point Museum.
San Francisco. A 30-room 1894 Victorian at 2724 Pacific Avenue (near Divisadero Street) will be open April 28 through May 20. Hours are 10 to 3:30 daily, plus 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Admission is $10 ($8 for seniors); it benefits University High School.
Santa Rosa. An 1869 Italianate house at 535 B STreet is open May 12 through 28 from 10 to 4 daily (to 7 Thursdays). Admission is $8; it benefits the Santa Rosa Symphony.
Saratoga. The house at 18020 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road (State 9), which has the same floorplan as a demonstration house at the Panama-Pacific Exposition of 1915, is open April 28 through May 28, 10:30 to 4 weekends, 9 to 3:30 weekdays except Thursday, when hours are 10:30 to 8:30. Admission is $8, $7 for seniors (no children under 9); proceeds go to the San Jose Symphony. Design areas include 12 outdoor spaces.
