Ontario International Airport Authority names Tuscon Airport veteran to CFO position.

Ontario International Airport Authority has appointed John M. Schubert, aviation industry executive, to the position of chief financial officer, the company said.

Schubert had been senior director of finance for the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) for the past decade.

During Schubert's tenure, TAA completed a USD 40 million apron reconstruction project and USD 29 million terminal optimization program, which included the revitalization of the airport's retail and dining concessions. He also played a leading role in completing a USD 33 million direct placement bond to refinance outstanding bond debt with a USD 4 million net present value savings.

Ontario International Airport (ONT) is located in the Inland Empire, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the center of Southern California. It is a full-service airport with nonstop commercial jet service to 19 major airports in the US, Mexico and Taiwan, and connecting service to many domestic and international destinations.
