Online Tax System would decline corrupt practices in Balochistan: Naeem Bazai.

QUETTA: Advisor to CM for Excise and Taxation Malik Naeem Bazai said, the Excise Department has been progressing its tax collection target added government has decided to take strict action against corrupt elements in government departments. He shared these views while handing over keys of newly purchased vehicles worth of 50 million rupees for the officers and staff of Excise Department on Friday.

"All available resources being utilized to yield better results from the performance of Provincial Excise Department, progress underway to meet the given tax-collection target of more than 2 billion rupees." Naeem Bazai said added online Tax System would be helpful to decline corrupt practice from Excise Department.

"We have digitalized vehicle registration and documentation which has decrease corruption in Excise Department but we have been pursing strict policy against corrupt practices in provincial Excise and Taxation Department." The Advisor said added action against corrupt elements would be publicized through media.

Replying to a query regarding Karachi Police's action against Provincial Advisor's vehicle he said, the news was correct that my vehicle was confiscated by Karachi Police but after producing legal documents they released my personal vehicle in port city Karachi. Addressing the ceremony Director General Excise and Taxation Balochistan Sohail ur Rehman said, Online Taxation would be helpful to end the rush of un-registered vehicles in the province while we have embarked a survey to increase property tax in Balochistan.
