Tenders are invited for Online Library Automation System

Phoenix Union High School District No. 210 is one of the largest high school districts in this country, with 16

schools, over 27,000 students, and nearly 3,000 employees. Phoenix Union covers 220 square miles of

Arizona s capital city.

Each school has a local area network (LAN), and wireless access into every classroom. The schools are

connected via a wide area network (WAN) on leased Fiber Optic lines using Cisco routers. Internet

connectivity is provided via multiple Fiber Optic lines from the Education Center to an Internet Service

Provider. The District utilized Cisco PIX Firewall at the Education Center to ensure acceptable use of the

Internet throughout the District. Computers in schools are approximately 70% Windows and 30% Macintosh;

Operating Systems are Windows 7 and Windows 8.
