Onex Closes Acquisition of Dutch Childcare Provider KidsFoundation.
29 November 2018 - Canadian private equity firm Onex Corp. (TSX: ONEX) has completed the acquisition of Netherlands-based childcare provider KidsFoundation Holdings B.V., the firm said.
In total, the Onex Partners Group invested approximately USD 172m, which includes capital from both Onex Partners IV and V. Onex' portion of the investment was USD 48m as a Ltd. partner in the funds.
Onex will now begin accruing fees on Onex Partners V, with annualized private equity fees expected to increase by more than USD 50m.
Through its Onex Partners and ONCAP private equity funds, Onex acquires and builds businesses in partnership with talented management teams.
With offices in Toronto, New York, New Jersey and London, Onex and the team are collectively the largest investors across Onex' platforms.
Onex' businesses have assets of USD 52bn, generate annual revenues of USD 32bn and employ approximately 218,000 people worldwide.
