Angela Ferrante is a new addition to Port Washington-based Arden Claims Service, a class action settlement administration firm specializing in employment matters. Ferrante applies nearly two decades of legal industry experience to her role of chief operating officer. She began her career as an attorney with global law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges and was most recently senior vice president of operations for the Garden City Group, where she oversaw and managed more than 100 professionals, handling all administration matters serviced from the firm's New York headquarters.

Rich Finkel


Bond, Schoeneck & King

Rich Finkel is based in the Garden City office of Bond, Schoeneck & King, where he is a member of the labor and employment and municipal law practice groups. He provides general counsel and litigation services to his clients in the areas of labor and employment law, municipal law and land use and zoning. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Finkel served as town attorney for the Town of North Hempstead for close to a decade. He is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law.

Ross Kartez


Ruskin Moscou Faltischek

Ross Kartez, an associate in the litigation department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, was recently named vice chair of the New York State Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Section. An active member of this group, Kartez is also the founder of the Judith Kaye Arbitration Competition, a moot arbitration competition that draws participants from law schools throughout the New York metro area. Kartez started the competition while he was a student at St. John's University School of Law. At Ruskin Moscou, Kartez focuses his practice on commercial litigation.

Jessica Leis


Forchelli Deegan Terrana

Jessica Leis is an associate with the land use and zoning practice group at Forchelli Deegan Terrana in Uniondale. The attorney appears regularly before municipal boards for public hearings on both residential and commercial applications and is well-versed in the application process pertaining to variances, conditional/special use permits and subdivisions. Additionally, she drafts petitions and memoranda of law for Article 78 proceedings. Leis, who was named a New York Super Lawyers Rising Star, co-wrote a SEQRA article that was published in the New State Bar Association's "The New York Environmental Lawyer" publication.

Henry Mascia is a civil litigator and immigration attorney with Uniondale-based Rivkin Radler. As a litigator, Mascia drafts and argues appeals, and litigates civil matters. As an immigration attorney, Mascia helps corporations and individuals navigate U.S. immigration law. He represents clients seeking H-1B visas for highly skilled workers in specialty occupations, L visas for intra-company transfers engaged in specialized employment, O visas for foreign nationals with extraordinary ability, E visas for treaty traders and investors, P visas for entertainers and athletes and TN visas for highly skilled Mexican and Canadian professionals.

Michelle Stieglitz

As a partner at East Meadow-based Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, Michelle Stieglitz practices in the firm's real estate group. Recently promoted from associate to partner, Stieglitz represents clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contracts and closings for new construction projects and re-sales for single and multifamily homes, condos and co-ops, as well as land use transactions. She earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
