One-stop shop for benefits.

PEOPLE claiming benefits in a Warwickshire town have a single point of contact from today as part of a scheme being piloted in Warwickshire.

Nuneaton people making a claim for Jobseekers' Allowance, Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Housing and Council Tax Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance or Widow's Benefit can now visit a purpose-designed ONE Centre at the Benefits Agency in Mill House, Mill Walk.

ONE in Warwickshire is one of four pilots launched by the government in June last year.

Ann Venus, a ONE personal adviser at Nuneaton, said: "Finding out about benefit entitlement or getting help with work or welfare issues has never been simpler.

"All the help needed is under one roof. You don't have to keep explaining your circumstances to a different person each time you need something."

The centre is open Monday to Friday and provides ONE clients with space for confidential discussions in a pleasant environment.
