The Red Feminista Latinoamericana y del Caribe contra la Violencia Domestica y Sexual (RedFem, Latin American and Caribbean Feminist Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence), based in Isis Internacional (Santiago, Chile), recently launched a website detailing all the network's activities, campaigns and calls for action and including links to organizations committed to eradicating gender-based violence and other useful information.RedFem coordinator Isabel Duque invites groups to send up-to-date information on their efforts to promote a life free from violence. These current events will be featured in a section called Comunicandonos (In Touch) and will be updated weekly. News of interest from throughout the region will also be included. In addition, the RedFem site contains information on legislation and calls for solidarity.
The network is also promoting the Call for Action, "For Women's Lives, Not One More Death," for the third consecutive year in commemoration of November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women.
