On W. Side, sales begin at new condo conversion (Dynamic Realty sells condominiums at 48 West 68th Street, New York, New York)

Dynamic Realty has announced that sales are officially underway at 48 West 68th Street, the 12-story building overlooking Central Park that is believed to be the only Manhattan apartment building currently being converted into a luxury condominium.

The 12-story residence was originally planned by its owner/builders, Benny and Sal Caiolo, as a condominium, but due to changing market conditions, it opened in 1988 as a rental building. Now it is being offered as it was originally conceived--but with a major difference.

The units are being priced below its original cost of construction, according to Brad Zackson, president of Dynamic Realty, exclusive sales and marketing agent for the property.

According to Zackson, until an onsite office at the building is completed, condo sales for the property are being carried out at Dynamic's new Manhattan Sales Center at 91 Fifth Avenue.
