Omani-British Joint Working Group Concludes it Meetings Today.

London, Oct 9 (ONA)--- Omani-British Joint Working Group concluded the meetings of its 5th session in London today. The meetings had begun two days earlier. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry chaired the Omani side while Hugh Robertson, British Minister of State at the British Foreign Office, headed the British side. The meetings addressed areas of cooperation in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, education, culture and museums and examined ways of cooperation and the implementation of what was agreed upon at previous meetings. The working teams conducted field visits to some British companies and institutions competent in the field of business and innovation and to view the British experience in the support and development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the area of entrepreneurship, education and cooperation in the cultural and museum field. Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah al-Hinai, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the United Kingdom and representatives of the various competent authorities in the Sultanate attended the meetings from the Omani side, while from the British side it was attended by Jamie Bowden, United Kingdom Ambassador to the Sultanate and a number of officials at the Foreign Office and the competent institutions in Britain.
