Omani, British and Indian forces hold military exercises.

Muscat: Oman's Air Force and Army are currently engaged in joint exercises with military partners India and Britain. The Ministry of Defence said, "East Bridge 5 exercise implemented by the Royal Air Force of Oman with the participation of the Indian Air Force has started at Masirah Air Base; the event will run until the 24th of this month." Yesterday, The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), and the British Marines units held a number of joint activities as part of the Omani-British joint drill, which will continue till October 29. In a statement, the Ministry of Defence said : "As part of the ongoing military cooperation between the two sides, Oman Royal Army, represented by a number of its units and Musandam security force with British Marines units, carried out a number of activities within the joint Oman-British exercise Musandam Fort 1."
