Olsson targets a triple-jump treble; ATHLETICS.

SWEDEN'S Christian Olsson has his sights set on a third World Indoor triple jump title in Doha this weekend.

Olsson almost quit the sport after several years blighted by injuries, but now looks to be getting back to his brilliant best.

The former Olympic champion has the second best jump in the world this year (17.32 metres), and needed just one attempt to achieve the automatic qualifying distance for tomorrow's final.

"It was my hope to qualify with one jump," Olsson said after a leap of 17.02m. "It is a good feeling to be back on the world stage.

"I'm taking it day by day and enjoying it. I do not want to take it too seriously and be under big pressure."
