Olin Corp. Recalls Five Lots Of Winchester Wildcat Ammo. (Bulletin Board).

Olin Corp., through its Winchester Division, is recalling five lots of its Wildcat .22 Long Rifle High Velocity Rimfire ammunition (Symbol Number WW22LR).

The lot numbers being recalled are: 3RA42L, 1RH7lL, 1RH81L, 2RH81L and 3RH81L. The ammunition lot number is imprinted (stamped without ink) on the outside of the right tuck flap of the 50-round box.

Winchester has determined the five lots may contain double-powder charges. Olin is warning consumers not to use ammunition from the listed lots because it may cause firearm damage and subject the shooter to the risk of personal injury.

Olin is asking that the ammunition from the lot numbers be returned to Winchester via UPS. The ammunition should be sent to: Olin Corp., Winchester Division, Tile Warehouse, Powder Mill Road, Gate 4A, East Alton, IL 62024 (Attn: 22 Caliber Recall).

Other symbol numbers or lot numbers are not subject to this recall and should not be returned to Winchester.
